A number of on- and off-campus events have been canceled. Some events will be rescheduled, and others will be reconfigured. A partial list appears below.

On campus

All spring athletics events — men’s baseball, women’s softball, and men’s and women’s track and field — have been canceled.

The 65th annual Gallaudet Spring Dance Performance, originally scheduled for March 27-28, has been postponed to Spring 2021.

The spring meeting of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association Board of Directors, originally scheduled for April 2-3, will be held virtually on April 3.

The 50th annual Charter Day Luncheon and Awards Program, originally scheduled for April 4, has been canceled.

Undergraduate Student Awards Day, originally scheduled for April 16, will be conducted online with a dedicated website. Watch for details!

The spring play, Twelfth Night, originally scheduled for April 16-26, has been canceled.

The fifth annual VL2 Knowledge Festival, originally scheduled for May 13, has been postponed to a future date, to be determined.

The spring meeting of the Gallaudet University Board of Trustees, scheduled for May 13-15, will be held virtually.

The Surviving Change Through Interconnection Symposium: African Deaf Ecologies in Transition, originally scheduled for May 17-20, will be rescheduled to Summer 2021.

Off campus

The International Congress on Education of the Deaf, originally scheduled for July 6-9 in Brisbane, Australia, has been rescheduled to July 5-8, 2021.

The DeafNation Expo and Conference events scheduled this spring in Atlanta, Georgia; Fort Worth, Texas; Kansas City, Kansas; and Washington, D.C. have all been rescheduled. The DeafNation International Expo and Conference, scheduled for July 12-16 in Las Vegas, Nevada, also has been canceled.
