The Gallaudet University Office of University Communications has created a new, dedicated website, This site is “Information Central” for everything related to the coronavirus pandemic — basic facts about the coronavirus and COVID-19, the respiratory disease it causes; Gallaudet’s response, resources, and frequently asked questions (FAQ). Everything that is sent via email, and every live event, will be archived on this site. Please bookmark this site and refer to it often.

Please know that this is a very fast-moving situation. We are keeping up as best as we can given our available resources. In particular, the FAQs are still under development. As soon as we receive questions, we will seek answers, and then we will post them as quickly as possible.

In keeping with our bilingual mission and our commitment to language vibrancy, all material on the website is being presented in written English and American Sign Language. Some material also will be provided in written Spanish. También se proporcionará material en español escrito.
