Being informed and educated is one of the best defenses against any disease.
Here is a golden opportunity to learn all about COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. Dr. Alicia Wooten, a biology professor in the Department of Science, Technology, and Mathematics, has organized a two-hour program on Wednesday, March 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the I. King Jordan Student Academic Center, Sprint Multipurpose Room.
The first hour will be a panel with experts from a variety of fields, including human biology, medicine, and epidemiology. They will address the social, economic, and cultural impact of COVID-19 nationally and internationally.
The second hour will consist of student-led small group discussions and a question and answer period.
Please come and learn!
